Fifth Annual Totally Trades in Aroostook

Aroostook Coalition for Women in Trades and Technology hosted its fifth Totally Trades (formerly Tools ‘N Trades) conference at Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle April 30. 90 girls attended workshops in non-traditional occupation areas for girls/women such as carpentry, electricity and bridge-building.

Comments included: “I enjoyed the day and learned a lot of interesting stuff I didn’t know before,” and “The workshops were fun; they were very hands-on which made it more interesting and enjoyable.”
