Summer Interns Arzberger and Dick on Loan to WWC

July 23, 2008 - WWC welcomes Meaghan Herbst Arzberger of Kennebunk and Alanna Dick of Winthrop as summer interns. Arzberger is a graduate student at Muskie School of Public Service, USM, in Portland and is conducting telephone interviews on Family Development Accounts while at WWC. Dick is entering her Junior year at Smith College, Northampton, Ma. and is focused on microenterprise development telephone research.

“We are pleased to provide Meaghan and Alanna an opportunity to learn about Family Development Accounts and microenterprise development, especially about the roles they play in women’s lives and the Maine economy,” said Eloise Vitelli, Director of Program and Policy. “WWC is grateful that Meaghan’s internship is funded through the Family Development Account Coalition, and Alanna’s internship is funded through Praxis: The Liberal Arts at Work Internship Program at Smith.”
