SOUTHERN MAINE CELEBRATES 30th ANNIVERSARY & CHAMPIONS AT THE NORTH STAR CAFE

May 6, 2009 - Portland and Saco Celebrated 30th Anniversary at the North Star Cafe, which is co-owned by a New Ventures graduate Anna Maria Tocci.  Champions Joni Boissonneault, Portland Housing Authority, Rhoda Butler, York County Community Action Corp., Richard Fifield, Saco CareerCenter and Mary Allen Lindemann of Coffee by Design, were honored.  Sarah Halpin, Chair of the Advisory Council welcomed all to the event, which featured participants’ artwork displayed around the Cafe.  About 60 partners, participants and friends enjoyed the ambiance and conviviality.
