Meade of Portland is an Adult Education College Transitions Consultant for Maine Compact for Higher Education. The three were appointed by Governor Baldacci and will serve a four year term.“We are delighted to gain the strong skills and valuable experience of these three women in our celebratory 30th anniversary year,” said Gilda Nardone, WWC Executive Director.
“I am excited to be part of this vital organization making a difference in the lives of many Maine women,” said Karin Anderson.
“From my perspective, WWC is unique in not only partnering with other organizations, but also in nurturing and encouraging collaborative efforts that strengthen all involved, said Anne Houle. “Instead of reinventing the wheel, WWC partners with others who bring new perspective and benefits to the work they do, which leverages the resources of all involved.”
“I have always been impressed with the effectiveness of the WWC programming, and the positive impact on the participants and their families,” said Larinda Meade. “To have an opportunity to serve on the Advisory Council is an honor.”
