New Ventures is a 12 week, one day a week, business planning course. The following topics are covered in depth: the customer, competition, marketing, record keeping, taxes, financing, legal aspects, and more. At the end of the class, you will have a completed business plan. There are also 3 monthly follow-up networking sessions at the completion of the class. If you are a matriculated student, this course qualifies for 3 UMA credits with a small processing fee.

Class size is limited to 15.

You must complete an application, come to the orientation, have an individual interview, and be accepted into the class.

Orientation Date: Thursday, May 7, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Interview Appointments are set at Orientation: May 7(after Orientation)and May 8.
Class Dates: Thursdays, May 14 - July 30.
Class Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
